The Norwegian Retailers' Environment Fund, represented by its CEO, is the data controller for the organisation’s processing of personal data.

4. Analysis of website traffic and use of cookies

To improve our website, we use Plausible to analyse how the website is used. When you visit handelensmiljofond.no, anonymised statistics are collected about how you use the site. Plausible does not use cookies and stores all data within the EU. It is not possible for us to identify you through the information collected — the data is used only in aggregated form.

4.1. Cookies

Google Tag Manager This is a tool that manages other tags and scripts on the website. The information stored cannot be traced back to you and is used for ongoing adjustments and adaptations to ensure the best possible experience on handelensmiljofond.no.

Google Ads Using Google Ads cookies, we measure whether people who click on our adverts complete desired actions, such as signing up to our newsletter. This helps us tailor our advertising.

5. Email and contact form

If you send us an email or use the contact form on our website, your email address will be stored in our email system together with the message you sent. Further correspondence will be stored and linked to the same email address.

We do not use your contact details for any purpose other than corresponding with you.

We use TLS encryption to secure our email communication, and if your email provider also supports this, the email will be encrypted end-to-end. All incoming and outgoing email is checked for viruses and malware.

Our legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

6. Newsletter

The Norwegian Retailers' Environment Fund sends newsletters to those who wish to receive them. The newsletter contains news, announcements, calls for applications and similar information. We use Make AS to manage and distribute the newsletter.

We do not use your contact information for anything other than sending you newsletters.
